IRE Secretariat

The IRE Secretariat is a central service, which, on a daily basis, organises network activities and provides technical support to IRE network members. The main aim is to support the efforts of IRE members to design and implement regional innovation strategies and schemes.

The services of the IRE Secretariat are available without charge to all IRE member regions and to other regional stakeholders involved in the process of developing the regional innovation system. The IRE Secretariat service charter provides an overview of the Secretariat services. More detailed information is also available. The mission of the IRE Secretariat can be found in the mission statement.

The IRE Secretariat is run by a consortium of private companies, and consists of a team of skilled and experienced members in the field of regional innovation policy and management of large trans-national networks.
